Meet the Board
Empowering Education International is governed by a board of directors who all joyfully submit to the authority of the Bible. Committed to Christian values and principals, each board member pledges to run this ministry with integrity, honesty, and excellence.

Dave Bream (President)
Dave Bream, a graduate from Liberty University, has been a pastor at Hillside Community Church of Keller, TX since 2001. He has helped to begin and grow missions and ministries in Honduras and many other parts of the world. He has been married to his wife Jill since 1989 and has three daughters.

Sean Warner (Treasurer) &
Whitney Warner (Secretary)
Sean and Whitney Warner, both graduates from the University of Illinois, have lived in Honduras since 2013. There they work together with the local church to care for over 200 children sponsored in Danlí, Honduras. They have been married since 2010 and have one baby girl.

Arturo Blanco & Ruth Triminio
(General Directors)
Arturo and his wife, Ruth, are pastors of the Llamado Eterno church of Danlí, Honduras. With 20 years experience as teachers in Honduran public high schools, they are passionate about the importance of education. They work faithfully to minister to the sponsored children and their families and care for their spiritual, physical, and educational needs. They have been married since 1996 and have two daughters.

Mike & Isabel Hawkins
(General Directors)
Mike, a software engineer, and his wife, Isabel, a real-estate agent, have been involved in missions in Honduras since 2010. Isabel helped begin the program after seeing the great need existing in Honduras, and together have worked to connect families in the US to children in need in Honduras. They have been married since 1994 and have two sons.
Managing the Finances
We are committed to being an organization run with honesty, integrity and excellence. We pledge to 100% transparency with our finances and how your donated dollars are being used to help those in need. Below you will find our 2017 budget for a $40/month child sponsorship. Every dollar is used to the benefit of the sponsored child.

*The ministry overhead is a fund created from a small part of each monthly donation. This fund serves many purposes. Primarily the ministry overhead fund is used when donors miss a monthly donation or are unable to continue sponsoring their child; thus, ensuring that the child is continued to be cared for. This fund is also used for small projects benefiting the children directly such as purchasing computers for them to use free of charge, materials for them to use in tutoring classes, etc.
**$45.00 is the total monthy operating cost per child of the Llamado Eterno school. The difference is covered by donations made to the general fund.
